Every year, Fundación Proyecto Maniapure organizes a medical journey that mobilizes over 35 specialists from the most recognized clinics in Caracas to the isolated communities in the south of the Orinoco River. This year the Journey was initially set at the end of January, however, given the political unrest those days, it had to be rescheduled to the end of the month of April. Today, we can say it was a success.
Over 12 airplanes moved more than 50 doctors and volunteers that provided health services to indigenous and creoles of the Maniapure Region.
In a few days we will be publishing the impact in numbers of this magnificent event.
